Benefits of a Deep Clean

Updated: Oct 12, 2021

Disclaimer: For up-to-date resources on cold, flu, and Covid-19, please visit The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). While we believe sanitizing and disinfecting is a critical step in maintaining health and safety in your home and work place, they are the experts and their guidelines should be observed first and foremost.

Before we get into the perks of a deep clean, we need you to understand that sanitizing and disinfecting are not the same thing. As a society, it is common to use those those two terms interchangeably, but they are actually quite different by definition.

What are the differences in products used to clean, sanitize, and disinfect surfaces? Cleaning removes dirt and organic matter, sanitizing kills bacteria, and disinfecting kills both bacteria and viruses. Only products that use chemicals to sanitize or disinfect are regulated by the EPA.

Sanitizing REDUCES the number of germs on a given surface.

Disinfecting ELIMINATES germs from a given surface.

TreeHouse offers BOTH sanitizing and disinfecting services. During our deep cleans, we focus on sanitization. However, we also offer highly effective disinfecting services that adhere to the CDC’s recommendations. Our recommendation is to combine the two services so that you get the highest level of clean for your home or office.

Benefits of a Deep Clean:

  1. Health There are only so many ways you can protect your home or employees from germs or illness. Offering them a clean space to live or work is one thing you can do to provide them a healthy environment.

  2. Liability You may not be at risk of your family members suing you for an unhealthy living environment, but if you run a business, you certainly hold some liability for providing a safe and healthy work environment for your employees. Choose to prioritize their health and safety for the good of everyone, but also consider your legal obligations.

  3. Peace of Mind There is peace of mind in knowing that your home or office are clean and safe; both for your own well-being and for the well-being of those around you. Maintaining consistent, professional cleanings can offer you the ultimate confidence that your space is ready to serve its purpose well.

Can you clean on your own? Certainly! In fact, we recommend implementing regular sanitization practices between deep cleans. But for those disinfecting services, reach out to the pros. Our team is OSHA-certified and uses ULV fogging equipment and EPA-approved disinfectant. We take disinfection seriously and follow all CDC guidelines. Call us at (501) 859-4188 to schedule your deep clean or disinfecting service!
